Chin-Tec Features
The upper section of the Chin-Tec oral insert has been designed to fit snugly against the roof of the mouth, offering resistance, to the upward movement of the tongue. The handles/arms are a safety feature and aid insertion and removal, to and from the mouth.The lower section of the Chin-Tec oral insert offers resistance to the downward movement of the tongue.
An inverted V-slot designed to accommodate the frenulum. The “tongue orifice” has been designed to locate the tongue centrally in the mouth, isolating the muscles to optimize toning.
Health Care Professionals
The holes in the rear of Chin-Tec may be filled using a variety of tube fed medical grade silicone adhesives to create bespoke oral inserts for therapeutic use with individuals that suffer with cerebral palsy, dysphagia or that have experienced a stroke.
